As no study is ever complete in itself, you may well find encouragement in further Bible studies. REMEMBER our aim is to conform to the IMAGE OF CHRIST. How can people see Christ on earth, if they cannot see HIM in us ?!

 “Living
the gentle life”

As a disciple of Jesus Christ I am committed to live the ‘gentle’ life. The words of the Psalmist (18:35) teaches that God develops strong saints through gentleness. The sermon on the Mount teaches us gentleness in “the second mile”, “the other cheek”, “the coat and shirt”. (Matt. 5:39-41). And what a fine example we see in Jesus when He stands before Pilate! Yes, I will be taken advantage of now and then, but I must never resort to the ‘sword’ or the ‘fist’ or, even the ‘law’. I must learn to be willing to suffer loss if it helps me to show Jesus to fellow men. Am I willing to accept Romans 8:36 ? The “Gentle Life’ is not the natural life, for we are taught
by the world around us to “stand up for your rights”, “stand up for yourself”, “be your own person”, etc. No, we are not to engage in politicking, pulling strings, using influences, or other carnal ways to reach our goals.
He was the true Gentleman, and desires us to be like Him. Thy gentleness hath made me great. (Psalm 18: 35). HE can make us into a true Lady or Gentleman. May Jesus be honoured in all facets of my life. Amen.
